Michael Chan
My parents put a camera in my hands when I was just a child. At the time, it was an innocent way to keep a curious kid busy (we didn't have iPads, or smartphones when I was growing up). I was told to use my imagination. There was no digital playback, no CF or SD cards - just film. So I spent the next hour curating 24 shots on a small entry-level Nikon F-series camera.
Unfortunately, my first roll of film never got printed. I opened the back-latch and the sun ate up my images.
I fell in love with photography. 25+ years later, I'm still trying to capture all the moments life brings me. From disposable film cameras, faithful Canon shooter.
I love taking landscapes and portraits. I've got an increasingly large collection of dog photos, thanks to my photogenic Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever named Tesla. Most importantly, I love capturing the moments in life that God has given me.
